Removable Dentures

Dentures are natural-looking replacement teeth that are removable. There are two types of dentures: full and partial.

  • Full dentures are given to patients when all of the natural teeth have been removed. Conventional full dentures are placed after the gum tissue has healed, which can take several months. Immediate full dentures are placed immediately after the teeth have been removed so you don't go a single day without teeth, but they may require frequent adjustments during the first couple of months of use.
  • Partial dentures are attached to a metal frame that is connected to your natural teeth and are used to fill in where permanent teeth have been removed. Partial dentures can be a cost-effective solution to multiple missing teeth.

Removable Dentures are an affordable option to getting your health and smile back!

Implant-Supported Overdentures

Most patients will not get completely comfortable with the instability that comes along with a traditional denture. For patients with an uncomfortable or loose-fitting denture, stabilizing it with 2-4 implants can be a more comfortable and functional solution.

Implant-Supported Overdentures 'snap' into fixtures in your mouth making them feel far more secure, and they can be removed for cleaning nightly. You can bmore confident when you talk, laugh, and eat in public. You'll never have to worry about your false teeth slipping or falling out while you eat or are engaged in conversation. The number of implants used depends on upper or lower arch as well as overall bone quality.

Fixed Full Arch Dental Implants

This type of implant supported dentures utilizes 4-8 implants to create a full arch of teeth. Because the implants hold the teeth in place, the actual prosthetic is much smaller, fitting the ridge of the teeth, but leaving the palate exposed. This is a huge improvement on traditional dentures because it does not cover the palate, thereby improving your taste sensations and overall comfort.

Fixed Full Arch Dental Implants can be completed in a single visit! We are able to deliver a beautiful temporary set of teeth on the same day that broken or decayed teeth are removed. At Dental Creations of Daytona Beach, we utilize digital planning, scanning, and printing techniques to create a set of teeth that is unique to you and will give you back your confidence, smile and function!
