Dr. Sapna Adappa was raised in Toledo, Ohio but still says “Hail, Blue” for her undergraduate Alma Mater, The University of Michigan. She received a BA in Economics and spent four years working in Chicago and taking additional courses at Loyola University Chicago. Dr. Adappa graduated from NYU College of Dentistry and chose to continue her education with a General Practice Residency at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. Fate brought her to Florida after she met her husband, a fellow dentist and Ormond Beach native, Sandeep Patel.
Dr. Adappa was drawn to dentistry because of her enjoyment of the technical aspects of the field as well as the daily patient interactions. She has had the opportunity to provide dental community service around New York City and in the Dominican Republic and continues to do so around Florida. Dr. Adappa has been practicing dentistry in the Ormond Beach area since 2012.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Adappa loves staying active with her loved ones in a game of tennis or running a half marathon or two. Chasing her twin boys has kept her moving as well! As a way to enjoy the Sunshine State, she is also learning golf, paddle-boarding, and surfing!
